About the Designer

With a background in Fashion and Fine Arts and 35 years of passionate career in fashion, Pierina D'Angelica is the creative force behind Atelier Milano and many other fashion labels that include; 'Pierina D'Angelica Designs' in Adelaide, 'Brides of Burnside' at Toorak Gardens, and 'Pierina D'Angelica Bridal Couture' at High Street, Prahran, Melbourne.​Pierina D'Angelica is a craftswoman who uses the most complex and delicate techniques that implement traditional tailoring, draping and embroidery to enhance the unique fabrics within her Haute Couture collections. With her practice, Pierina D'Angelica pushes the boundaries of materials and strives toward the integrity of texture, colour and hand sewing techniques.
